The Advertising Space on Mobile Devices and Xavier Buyse

Not long ago it is has been impossible to maintain anything other than a passing interest in web devs, meaning there was less content to consume, less consumer interest when it has come to the mobile web. With 3G coming of age finally, or the 3rd generation of mobile internet on peoples mobile there has been a significant growth in customers taking advantage of mobile technology to access the internet and with that many businesses have moved in to dominate the space. One business man entrepreneur being Xavier Buyse @ ADS Media whose mobile advertising company is expanding at a terrific rate as the industry for mobile advertising continues to develop.

For companies that master the new advertising techniques, such Mr. Xavier Buyse CEO has, the payoff is potentially massive: a big leap forward in customer engagement, whilst simultaneously keeping costs to a bare minimum. And whereas the large developments in ad technology once favoured established companies like Nike Glaxo Smith Kline, which could afford to mass-market its message, the new techniques are something even much smaller companies can afford as well. In the long run it is very likely that, we can cut the cost of advertising in half while keeping up customer engagement at either the same or a higher level.

Steve Jobs has now sold over thirty million iPhones. There are 75000 applications in the iTunes store and consumers have installed over 1.8 billion of them, creating the perfect foundations for advertisers and marketers. There is very little transparency in the mobile industry and a far cry from the transparency enjoyed by the above the line advertising industry. What is funny is that it is the capability of targeting consumers directly that is bringing in the brands to an industry that is very poor at communicating. But that ultimately is proving very succesful and compartively cheap to identify consumers. The introduction of the first mobile computing unit that web developers and designers can get behind has created a massive boost for mobile web content creation. Old style media businesses need to evolve to be part of the future and for technology based businesses that means being willing to rethink the entire process, replacing obsolete processes with new technology and working practices.
