Did You Know? All Covering Mr Nicholas Bredimus

A major improvement in hospitality and airline travel was sparked off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who brought them together with the computer industry to develop a new way to do business. This resourceful man has become a standout in several fields, from the luxury home design market through the essentials of air safety and software to help with time management. Not only that but, in all cases, his emotional drive is clear.

Glancing at Mr Nicholas Bredimus’ pedigree anyone could tell he was certain to achieve greatness. Drawn together from a true melting pot, his family traces to the time of ancient Rome, with his mother’s branch rooted in Scotland and Germany. A similarly wide mingling dominates his father’s side; prior to coming to America near the end of the nineteenth century, the family lived in Luxembourg and England.

After arriving in America, the line continued to persevere and climb in the world. One of seven siblings, Nicholas had a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. He would dwell in the Lone Star State for a number of years as well as in Reston, VA, Kansas City, MO and Scottsdale, AZ. Once his education had been completed, he engaged in a few respected roles for some of the most distinguished and largest airlines. He rose to the rank of Vice President with airlines like Republic Airlines, Hughes Airwest, and Trans World Airlines (TWA). These achievements nothwithstanding, above all the airline industry has felt the need to thank him for services in the realm of software programming. Nicholas is certainly most famous for the airplane maintenance program he invented for US Airways, which would rapidly become the industry standard. He designed several other computerized solutions for the airline and hospitality sector both before and after, among them unmanned software to handle flight reservations, employed now at over 50 airlines, and the original desktop computer based room booking software deployed by the hotel industry, the launch for which was a major event at more than seven hundred locations. He went on to produce system tagged QuikTix, the first electronic ticket ordering network.

Mr Bredimus has also taken on several capacities unconnected to software design, let’s remember. Responsible titles with American Express and American Airlines followed, and of course he launched a company of his own in the early nineties.

Is he still active? Of course — his creativity is ready to answer the call despite his retirement. He’s at work now advancing building design — matching the requirements of luxury with up to date technology and honest ecological concern. Which shows you what dedicated desire can actually achieve!
